Attique Ur Rehman is an Economist with the Enterprise Analysis Unit, starting in February 2025. He was previously a Data Analyst at the Business Ready Unit and a consultant for the World Bank’s Identification for Development (ID4D) and Development Impact Evaluation (DIME) programs. Before joining the World Bank, Attique held research roles at the Center for Economic Research in Pakistan (CERP), the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI), and the Consortium for Development Policy Research (CDPR). He also taught as an adjunct faculty member at the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS). Attique is currently pursuing a PhD in Economics at the University of Delaware. He holds master’s degrees in economics from both the University of Delaware and LUMS. His research interests focus on field experiments, women’s empowerment, and how technology shapes economic outcomes in developing countries.
