Arundhati Joshi, an Indian national, joined the Regulatory Efficiency team in 2025 as a Consultant with a focus on agri-business and cross-cutting topics. Before joining the World Bank, she worked on resilience, food security, and inclusive economic development across Africa, Latin America, and the Middle East. Her experience includes mixed-methods of research and policy analysis for programs supporting marginalized communities, including work on climate- and conflict-driven migration, market access for smallholders, and humanitarian livelihoods. She previously supported global climate finance and policy engagements through the G-24 Secretariat. Arundhati holds a MPP and a Certificate in Global Human Development from Georgetown University, and a bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Delhi. She speaks Hindi.
