Anna Corcuera

Anna Corcuera serves as Senior Financial Officer within the Financial Products team (TREFP) at the World Bank Group's Treasury, based in Washington, D.C. She joins from the Bank's Prosperity Vice Presidency, where she worked as an Economist specializing in debt sustainability analysis and sovereign debt management for IDA-eligible countries.

Prior to the World Bank Group, Anna spent over a decade in the banking sector. At Citi's Public Sector Group in New York, she delivered strategic financial advisory services to sovereign and sub-sovereign clients in emerging and frontier markets, on international capital markets, debt restructuring transactions, and sovereign credit rating strategies. Earlier in her career, she worked as a Ratings Analyst at Standard & Poor's in Madrid, covering the banking sector across Southern Europe.

Anna holds dual German and Peruvian nationality. She earned her Master of Public Administration from Columbia University and a BSc in Economics from the University of Warwick.
