Ana Campos Garcia

Ana Campos is the Global Disaster Risk Management Lead at the World Bank. Based in Washington, D.C., she brings over 35 years of experience advancing disaster risk management and climate resilience across Africa, Latin America, and the Caribbean. She has led multidisciplinary teams delivering large‑scale investments and solutions in disaster risk governance, urban resilience, disaster risk financing, emergency preparedness, and post‑disaster response and recovery. Before joining the World Bank in 2011, Ana served as a public servant with the Government of Colombia and held senior management roles in both the public sector and international development organizations in Latin America. She holds an M.Sc. in Earthquake Engineering.
