Amparo Palacios-López is Program Manager at the World Bank Living Standards Measurement Study (LSMS) unit.
She leads the Survey Methods Program of the LSMS.
Her primary area of research is development, with a focus on survey methods, labor, poverty, and agriculture. The recent focus of her methodological research has been on labor, informality, consumption.
Amparo has a PhD in Development Economics from the University of Maryland, College Park, and holds a MA in Economics from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
