Allen Curtis K. Dennis is the World Bank Program Leader for Equitable Growth, Finance and Institutions for Kenya, Rwanda, Somalia and Uganda. Mr Dennis, who is based in Nairobi, coordinates the World Bank’s engagements on macro and fiscal; trade, investment and competitiveness; finance; public sector and financial management; poverty and equity; and procurement portfolio for the four countries. He joined the World Bank in 2005 as a Young Professional and has worked in Africa, Europe and Central Asia, East Asia Pacific and Middle East and North Africa. Prior to joining the World Bank, Allen worked as an Economist at the World Trade organization, Geneva, Switzerland. He has  years’ experience in development practice. Allen is a Ghanaian national, holds a PhD in Economics from University of Nottingham, a MSC in Quantitative Development Economics from the University of Warwick, and MPhil and B.A in Economics from University of Ghana.
