Ahmet Levent Yener


Ahmet Levent Yener is based in Tbilisi, Georgia as the Program Leader for the Human Development Practice Group in the South Caucasus.

Ahmet has over 25 years of experience in leading and developing human development programs. His work experience focused on designing and managing projects and technical assistance activities in health, social protection, and education sectors. He has also contributed to various analytical projects, and authored reports focused on primary and integrated health care, health expenditures, pharmaceuticals, quality of jobs, promoting employability and skills, work force development, and migration.

Ahmet works closely with the South Caucasus country teams to design and supervise regional and country specific programs related with the strategic goals of the countries in the region. He also manages the dialogue with various clients and stakeholders to address problems and formulate solutions to key development challenges.

Ahmet Levent holds a Ph.D. in Finance from the University of Ankara, Turkey, and an M.B.A. from the Middle East Technical University in Ankara, Turkey.
