The creative economy (CE) encompasses a diverse range of sectors that utilize creativity; skill; technology and intellectual property to create wealth and jobs through the generation and exploitation of intellectual property. CE has been recognized globally as a major driver of economic growth; innovation; and job creation; especially for women and youth. The objective of this consultancy is to identify and quantify the opportunities and challenges for the Creative Economy in Sierra Leone. It will aim to provide policy makers; development partners and practitioners with a snapshot of the players; challenges and opportunities that currently exist for CE in Sierra Leone.
