Abstract of Learning Case 4
Designing Training Advertisements

The case presents how the Training and Information Services Group (TISG) of the Technology and Livelihood Resource Center (TLRC) under the leadership of Ms. Raquel C. Saclao, delivered more training services to more clients and at the same time, transformed the non-earning group to a revenue-earning one to support the agency's operations.

Still, Ms. Saclao wondered how they fared in terms of satisfying the training demands of their clients. She wanted to know what their group's contributions were in terms of fulfilling the TLRC's mandate - that of promoting appropriate technology and livelihood. With the coming of a new administration, she wanted to know their relevance and contribution in the country's economic progress with the view of improving their future approaches and direction. Thus, she spearheaded an environmental study aimed at determining the TISG's impact on its clients within their economic context.
