The Japan Social Development Fund (JSDF) is funded by the Government of Japan and administered by the World Bank


 

JSDF Grants for Pakistan Earthquake Reconstruction
 

 

The Government of Japan allocated additional funds to the Japan Social Development Fund for grants to finance reconstruction efforts for those affected by the October 2005 earthquake. The deadline has expired for submission of proposals for funding under this emergency facility. On May 12, 2006, four grants were approved for approximately US$6.5 million. The grants approved appear below.
