The objective of the IEG review is to assess progress of the PRSP process towards meeting the challenge of poverty reduction and to assess the World Bank's role in support of the process, with a view to informing, and where necessary, making recommendations to strengthen the implementation of the initiative and to increase the effectiveness of the World Bank's support.
