IEG's Evaluation of the World Bank's Approach to Global Programs
Bilateral Briefings
10, 11 and 17 January 2005

Upon request, IEG has been invited to present the findings of its Evaluation of the World Bank's Approach to Global Programs to a few bilateral organizations. Upcoming briefing events include:

Jan. 10
Paris, France
France, Treasury Department. The Deputy Head of Official Development Assistance, Multilateral Development Banks has invited IEG to present its review and particpate in a discussion with the evalution departments of the French Foreign Affairs Ministry, the Ministry of Economy and the French Development Agency on January 10, 2005 in Paris, France.
Jan. 11
Bern, Switzerland
SDC, The Division International Financial Institutions has invited IEG to present its review and participate in discussions with Serge Chappette and his staff on Jan. 11th. 2005.
Jan. 17
Ottawa, Canada
CIDA - The Multilateral Programmes Branch has invited IEG to present its review and particpate in discussions on January 17th in Ottawa, Canada.

 

 

The Independent Evaluation Group (IEG) is an independent unit within the World Bank; it reports directly to the Bank's Board of Executive Directors. The goals of IEG 's evaluations are to draw lessons from Bank experience, and to provide an objective basis for assessing the results of the Bank's work.
