Kagera, Tanzania Health and Development Survey 1991-94 |
The Kagera, Tanzania Health and Development Survey was designed to estimate the size and distribution of the social and economic impact of adult mortality and morbidity in Tanzania, and to study the effectiveness of alternative policies in assisting the survivors of adult mortality. To collect information, the survey included household, community, health facility, education, traditional medicine and price questionnaires. The research design was developed by a team of researchers from the University of Dar es Salaam and the World Bank in order to design and proprose programs to help households that have lost adult members.
All data files and necessary supporting documentation can be downloaded from the Net. To obtain the data, first read the sections describing the formats of the data and documentation, then fill in the 'Data Use Agreement Form', and finally download the data and documents.
