Bulgarian 1995 Integrated Household Survey |
The Bulgarian 1995 Integrated Household Survey (IHS) is a nationally representative, multi-purpose household survey which contains information on a series of subjects including (but not limited to) household composition, education, health, fertility, expenditures, employment and other income earning activities. The primary objective of the survey is to allow detailed analysis of the standard of living of the Bulgarian population in general and of the poor in particular.
The sample consists of approximately 2,500 households in 500 clusters. The survey was administered between May 15 and July 30, 1995, by Gallup International under the auspices of the Bulgarian Ministry of Labor, the Social Affairs and the National Institute of Statistic. All data files and necessary supporting documentation can be downloaded from the site. To obtain the data, first read the sections describing the formats of the data and documentation, then fill in the 'Data Use Agreement Form', and finally download the data and documents.
