Bulgarian 2001 Integrated Household Survey |
The Bulgarian 2001 Integrated Household Survey (IHS) is a nationally representative, multi-purpose household survey which contains information on a series of subjects including (but not limited to) household composition, education, health, fertility, expenditures, employment and other income earning activities. The primary objective of the survey is to allow detailed analysis of the standard of living of the Bulgarian population in general and of the poor in particular.
The survey is almost identical to the Bulgaria 1995 and 1997 Integrated Household Surveys. Like the earlier surveys, this survey was administered by Gallup International under the auspices of the Bulgarian Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, and the National Institute of Statistic. Interested users can also download the documentation and data from the 1995 survey and the 1997 survey.
All data files and available supporting documentation can be downloaded from the site. To obtain the data, first read the sections describing the formats of the data and documentation, then fill in the 'Data Use Agreement Form', and finally download the data and documents.
