Welcome to the World Bank's Living Standards Measurement Study web site. LSMS household surveys can be an important tool in measuring and understanding poverty in developing countries. This site can:

• help individuals to determine if the data can be useful for their purposes
• provide users with actual data for analyses
• provide a link to reports and research done using LSMS data
