Beyond Transition Newsletter covers a wide range of topics related to transition economies in Europe and Central Asia regions. To mention just a few, these include: financial sector reform, capital market development, corporate governance, social policy, healthcare and pension reforms, institution development, investment climate, public service provision, urban development, business climate, entrepreneurship, and reforms of networking industries.

We are looking for contributions that are analytical and relevant to current policy debate, timely and topical, tightly written and focused. As our 15,000 readership includes policy-makers, businesspeople and students, who may not necessarily be experts in a given area, economic lingo and excessive technicalities should better be avoided.

We invite contributions based on recent policy-oriented research, comments and analyses, information on upcoming conferences, reviews of new books and working papers, letters to the editor. All contributions should be relevant for transition countries in Europe and Central Asia and/or emerging market economies, such as China and India .

All submissions should be accompanied by a brief note describing the author's current or past position and affiliation, and contact details, if these are to be published. We try to avoid using footnotes in print, so citations should be included in the text body. Please limit the number of bibliographic citations to 5, which will appear at the end of the volume.

We reserve the right to edit the contributions for space and style if selected. Submissions are accepted on a rolling basis.
