Announcement!

We are pleased to announce that the World Bank’s Transition newsletter and the William Davidson Institute at the University of Michigan Business School—the prominent think tank specializing in research and application of transition issues—have signed a joint publication agreement: Davidson is contributing both to the publication and to editorial content for the enrichment of the newsletter. Executive Director of WDI, Jan Svejnar, and Joseph Stiglitz, Senior Vice President and Chief Economist of the World Bank, are members of the editorial board of Transition. This cooperation marks further progress toward our goal of presenting Transition as a global forum for ideas related to transition theory and practice—for research institutes and universities, as well as businesses and policymakers.
