On March 29, 2006, the IMF and the World Bank announced a range of measures to promote a deeper and early review of IMF-World Bank collaboration, including the creation of a six-member External Review Committee (see press release).

In proceeding with its work, the committee has decided to solicit views from the public, and has asked the World Bank and the IMF to establish an electronic mailbox for the public to offer their comments.

The comments, which will be sent directly to the members of the Committee, may be submitted to erc@imf.org until September 15, 2006, or, interested parties may use the comment form provided below.
