This year’s WDR, A Better Investment Climate for Everyone, drew on surveys of more than 30,000 firms in 53 developing countries. It highlighted the policy related risks that dominate the concerns of firms in developing countries and shows the costs faced by those firms could be substantial, making potential investment opportunities unprofitable.
