China: Yunnan Urban Environment Project II
Washington DC, May 5, 2009—The World Bank's Board of Executive Directors today approved the following project.
IBRD Loan: US$90 million
TERMS: Maturity = 25 years; Grace = 8 years
Project Description: The Yunnan Urban Environment Project II for China aims to assist Yunnan Province in improving the effectiveness and coverage o f critical urban infrastructure services in selected counties and the effectiveness of lake basin management in Dianchi, through investments in systems for the management o f wastewater, water supply, solid waste, river environment and cultural heritage.
