The World Bank’s latest regional flagship report Risks and Returns: Managing Financial Trade-offs for Inclusive Growth in ECA will be launched on December 6, 2016 at the Narodowy Bank Polski (NBP) Head Office in Warsaw, Poland.

The World Bank’s latest regional flagship report Risks and Returns: Managing Financial Trade-offs for Inclusive Growth in ECA will be launched on December 6, 2016 at the Narodowy Bank Polski (NBP) Head Office in Warsaw, Poland. The report will be presented by Mr David Gould and Mr Martin Melecky, lead authors of the report and both Lead Economists at the World Bank. After the presentation, representatives of the NBP, the World Bank and the Polish Development Fund will discuss the prospects for the development of financial sector in the region in a panel discussion moderated by Wojtek Moskwa, Poland Bureau Chief, Bloomberg.

The Report argues that financial development in Europe and Central Asia must move beyond bank credit, become more balanced across all dimensions of finance, and account for financial trade-offs such as that between inclusion and stability.
