The World Bank Group is partnering with the Malaysian Administrative Modernization and Planning Unit (MAMPU) under the Prime Minister’s Department to conduct an Open Data Readiness Assessment (ODRA). This assessment will help to explore the various dimensions which support or constrain Open Data in Malaysia, with a view towards creating an action plan for Malaysia to take forward its open data agenda. The World Bank Group and MAMPU will hold an Open Data Readiness Assessment Seminar with stakeholder from government, civil society, academia and business. This seminar will provide a forum for stakeholders to exchange views on the Open Data environment in Malaysia, explore the ODRA framework, and share examples of innovative approaches to data use from around the world.
