Strong public financial management contributes to the achievement of fiscal discipline, efficient allocation of available national resources to strategic objectives, and efficient and effective delivery of public service to the citizens. This conference will bring together finance ministers of Francophone Africa, high ranking officials and leaders of the accounting profession on the continent and around the globe. Participants will evaluate the state of public financial management in the region, formulate a reform action plan, and mobilize different actors to support implementation of the plan for the benefit of citizens in the region.
