On December 4, 2013, in Berlin, the Association of German Chambers of Commerce and Industry (DIHK) hosted an event for the joint WB-IFC 2014 Doing Business Report. Augusto Lopez-Claros, World Bank Director of Global Indicators and Analysis, presented key findings of the new report.  The presentation was followed by a discussion with participants on the relevance of the findings both for Germany and internationally. Approximately 100 representatives from the German business community, the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), civil society and the diplomatic community attended the event. DIHK is the umbrella organization for 80 German Chambers of Commerce and Industry, representing more than three million entrepreneurs.
