These impacts will be alleviated by relocation of the transmitter and relocation of the residents exposed to excessive levels of electromagnetic radiation (EMR). An Environmental Management Plan (EMP) will need to be carried out to address the impacts of construction and operation of the tower and antennas at the new location and of decommissioning the existing tower, in accordance with the Bank. The EMP will be implemented, monitored and evaluated during the DFGG project implementation period in a manner satisfactory to the Bank; and this requires preparation of a Resettlement Plan satisfactory to the Bank, including consultations with the displaced and host populations. Show Less -
