Lars Christian Moller is a Manager at the Global Practice for Macroeconomics and Fiscal Management in the Africa Region of the World Bank. He oversees the work of 20 country economists covering 14 countries in West and Central Africa. Lars joined the World Bank as a Young Professional in 2005 where he has worked in different country economist capacities with a focus on Africa and Latin America. Recent assignment includes Lead Economist for the Andean countries, Program Leader for Ethiopia and Senior Economist for Colombia. His analytical work on a broad range of economic policy topics is published in peer reviewed journals and World Bank reports. A Danish national, he holds a PhD in Economics from University of Nottingham (UK), a Masters in Development Studies from East Anglia (UK) and Masters and Bachelor degrees in Economics from Copenhagen (Denmark).
