Jonathan Perry

JPA & Y2Y Steering Committee Co-Chair, Latin America and Caribbean

Jonathan works in the Office of the Vice President of the Latin America and the Caribbean Region where he contributes to the strategy and planning for the region, helps to coordinate regional initiatives throughout country and sector management units, and represents the World Bank LCRVP office in the OAS Summit of the Americas Joint Summit Working Group and other Latin American focused events in the Washington DC Community. Prior to joining the World Bank, Jonathan earned a Masters in International Affairs at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University (US) where he studied International Negotiations, Political Economy, and Development. He has worked with the Center for Sustainability Studies at the Fundação Getulio Vargas in São Paolo; with the education company Zoom: Education for Life in partnership with the Inter-American Development Bank’s Majority Markets programs; and with the Center for International Environment and Resource Policy as the editor of the IDEAS Journal. In his free time Jonathan enjoys riding through the city on his road bike, discovering new music, and exploring the great outdoors.
