Erjon Luci is an Economist at the World Bank Country Office in Tirana.  Prior to joining the World Bank Mr. Luci was the Director of Research Department at the Bank of Albania.  Mr. Luci has also worked as Head of the Monetary Sector, Macroeconomic Unit with the Council of Ministers, a Lecturer at the Economics Faculty of the Tirana University, and a Research Associate at Staffordshire University. 

Mr. Luci holds a PhD from Staffordshire University (UK) and a MS in Economics from Staffordshire University.  His research has mainly been focused on problems relating to financial systems but has recently expanded to include other areas of economic development.
