Dahlia Lotayef is a Lead Environmental Specialist in the Environment and Natural Resources Global Practice at the World Bank Group. She is currently responsible for the West Africa Coastal Areas Program (WACA) as well as several programs on managing environmental risk and pollution.
Ms Lotayef has extensive experience in developing, managing, and working on multi-disciplinary and multi-sectoral policies, programs and projects at the local and international levels. She has designed and managed a large number of environmental projects, including but not limited to pollution control, air quality management, information and monitoring.
Ms Lotayef is an Egyptian national and holds a Master’s Degree in Environmental Engineering, with more than 25 years of professional experience in the field of the environment from governmental and non-governmental jobs. She is fluent in Arabic, English and French.
