Anthony Mveyange

Economist, Development Research Group

Anthony Mveyange is an Economist in the Agriculture and Rural Development Team of the World Bank's Development Research Group. Prior to joining the World Bank as staff, Anthony worked as a World Bank consultant since 2009. He was also a Post-doctoral research fellow at the Center for Effective Global Action at the University of California Berkeley and a consultant at the United Nations University - World Institute for Development Economics Research (UNU-WIDER). His main research interests include poverty and inequality; environment and natural resources; education; urban, rural, and social development; and fragility, conflict and violence. Anthony received his PhD in Economics from the University of Southern Denmark in 2015.
