Amit Bajaj


Amit Bajaj currently heads up the multi-asset class services function at the World Bank Treasury Asset Management business. In this role, he oversees the middle and back office of the World Bank Pension and Endowment group which oversees about $22 billion of multi-asset class portfolio. He also serves as the Chair of the Subject Matter Experts focus group on accounting issues on foreign reserves management

Amit brings with him diverse experience in financial reporting, pricing and valuation, alternative assets servicing and performance analytics spanning over 15 years within the World Bank Group. Prior to joining the World Bank, Mr. Bajaj worked at Indian Oil Corporation, a fortune 500 company in the area of management reporting.

Mr. Bajaj holds a First Class Honors degree from Calcutta University, India and is a Chartered Accountant (ICAI) from India. He is also a CFA charter holder, a certified FRM and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
