Interest	I edited Confronting AIDS: Public Priorities in a Global Epidemic (World Bank, 1997) and am one of a group of people in the World Bank, UNAIDS, and other institutions who have worked to create and maintain the AIDS-Economics website. I am interested in the issue of public funding of ARV therapy in developing countries and the evaluation of difficult trade-offs in the allocation of scarce public resources, particularly the potential trade-offs between treatment and prevention. I am also interested in the potential of on-line discussions generally for development-related policy issues.
