I read your economics and ethics message with interest. I do think that a framework for treating the ethical dimensions of economic analysis would be helpful. I hope that you have time to read my very rough and brief attempt at describing this under the ethics/equity subject earlier in this conference. I would enjoy discussing this further with you. We have just completed a large-scale HIV/AIDS economic research program in Canada and we have only begun to frame the key ethical issues. Many of them were raised in the research that I conducted on the Economic Burden of HIV/AIDS in Canada. Terry Albert
