Debriefings Program

The Debriefing Program is a knowledge and learning service for clients, partners and Bank staff that attempts to better document and exchange lessons of operational experience for improved development results. To facilitate this exchange, the program conducts videotaped interviews with clients and staff on good practice and lessons learned in areas of regional strategic importance, either identified by interested Bank staff or by Program staff. Each interview is synthesized into short 2-5 minute thematic clips which permit the viewer to go to specific areas of interest.

The program has been in operation since fiscal year 2002 and currently there are over 75 debriefs available to Bank staff on our internal site and database (http://afr/debriefing). Upon clearance from our debriefees, select interviews are made available on the external web as well (see menu below). For any further questions or suggestions about the program please contact Prasad C. Mohan (Program Manager) at afrdebriefing@worldbank.org .
